Visiting AC

There's

a Welcome

Here!

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some"                         (Heb. 10:24, 25)

                                            WHEN we meet

Sundays

11:15 A.M. - Family Bible Hour

A time for teaching from God's word, the Bible, and for singing songs that worship the Lord, build one another up, and challenge us to godly service.

Not offering plate is passed during this service.

We sometimes call this meeting our Family Bible Hour because our families are together (even the kids!) to hear God's word taught.  We have a place for nursing mothers and little ones.

If you are visiting for the first time, we recommend this meeting to get acquainted.

Teaching Series.  We are alternating between three series.

Check the Home Page for what series is up for this coming Sunday.  To listen to some of the messages, visit our Media page.

JonahWarren Elliott is teaching through the book by the reluctant prophet--with plenty of applications for God's sometimes-reluctant people (us).

1 Peter.  This humbled disciple loved His Savior and gave timeless counsel for His Savior's people.  Marc Collins is preaching through 1 Peter.

Compound Names of God.  As God's people faced challenges throughout the Bible, He proved Himself faithful by revealing a different aspect of His person and character.  These saints marked events or places with one of rich names of God, such as "Jehovah Shalom, the Lord is our Peace."  John Pillitiere is teaching through several of these names.

10:30 A.M. - Christian Training

High School Youth study the people of the Bible, analyze their character, strengths and flaws, and make application in their own lives.

Hope Elliott leads the youth in thoughtful discussion.

The gospel should be believed because it’s true . . .Belief in a religious fairy tale, even though sincere, is not a goal to be sought, but a condition to be pitied.
Grade School-Aged Youth are studying the Bible from Creation through Christ in curriculum developed by New Tribes  Mission.  We answer questions, such as "Who is God?"  and "What is He like?"  and "How can I know Him personally."  Each lesson has a review and skit, with lots of interesting maps, timeline charts, and posters.

Jennelle Pillitiere uses flannel graphs to lovingly teach and challenge youngsters.  The students use their Bible for their text.

9:30 A.M. - Breaking of Bread

Believers meet to remember what the Lord Jesus Christ has done for us on the cross, as He asked us to.

3rd Sunday - Monthly Fellowship Meal.  Each third Sunday of the month, after the 11:15 meeting.

Tuesdays

6:30 p.m. - Prayer Meeting.  This is a time to ask God for great things for His glory.  We take an hour to pray for one another and for our friends, family, and nation.

Need a miracle?  We want to pray for you.

Small Group

Fridays

7:00 P.M. - Neighborhood Bible Study (dinner at 6:00 p.m.)  Getting in depth and applying lessons from 1 John to our lives.

A great way to wind down the week and get your batteries recharged from stimulating discussion and fellowship with kindred hearts.

We meeting in a home each week to better understand this part of the Bible and discover personal applications for our lives.
